Chinta Tours offers personalized itineraries that use light aircraft to link the stunning Outback scenery with quality accommodation and 4WD excursions led by local, knowledgable guides.

Accommodation can range from an award-winning eco villa with a skylight in the bedroom ceiling (so you can lie in bed and view the Southern stars) or a luxury safari tent with a queen size bed and private en-suite or a hosted Outback station homestead located on a property where distances are measured in the hours it takes to drive.

4WD excursions at each destination provide the opportunity to see the native wildlife in their natural surroundings or to view the Outback scenery up close. The luxury vehicles are driven by guides who are local to the area you’re visiting, experienced guides who take pride in ensuring you enjoy your time.

All tours include all meals, which feature local produce, so you may dine on locally caught seafood, or an Outback Bush Tucker delicacy.

Most days on tour include a short time in flight, to allow you to relax and appreciate the ever-changing, vast, Outback scenery. Whales at Head of Bight Marine Park

The first Southern Right Whales for the 2010 season have arrived at the Head of Bight Marine Park. The first calf has been born. We anticipate that whales will be in the area until early October..

Thirty minute scenic flights depart on demand from the Nullarbor Roadhouse, for $120pp (minimum of two passengers). Bookings can be made at the Nullarbor Roadhouse.

Lake Eyre flights

Chinta Tours is now offering a range of itineraries that include charter flights over Lake Eyre. Options include one day, two days or three day tours.

The Ultimate Lake Eyre Experience is a four day tour which explores Lake Eyre, and the creeks and rivers which feed into the Lake. The highlight is a 4WD tour led by a traditional Aboriginal elder showcasing his country.

Tours include scenic flights, accommodation, meals, and excursions.
