Scenic flights to see the whales at the Head of Bight

The first Southern Right Whales have been seen at the Head of Bight for the 2009 season.

The Whales come up to the warmer waters each winter to breed and to give birth.

Visitors to the region can view the whales from the platforms at the Head of Bight or by flying over the Head of Bight Marine Park.

Once again, Outback aviation specialist company Chinta Air will be offering scenic flights over the Head of Bight Marine Park and along the Bunda Cliffs.  Flights will be available from Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

Flights depart on demand, at a cost of:

Three people:  AUD $80 (inc GST) per person.

Two people:  AUD $120 (inc GST) per person.
