One night in twin share safari tent on a private station on the Gulf of Carpentaria. Two nights in Guest Quarters at Wrotham Park Lodge.
Tour can depart from Darwin to Cairns or Cairns to Darwin.
Day 1 & 2: Bamurru Plains/Kakadu National Park (B, L, D)
Bamurru Plains is located on the floodplains of the Mary River, making the region rich in wildlife, particularly birds.
Highlights include:
» Airboat tours of the wetlands to view birds and wildlife.
» River cruises on the Sampan River.
» Sole use 4WD tour of Kakadu National Park.
Accommodation: Raised safari suite with air-conditioning and views over the wetlands. All meals and activities are included.
Day 3: Gulf of Carpentaria
The remote landscapes of Arnhemland form a backdrop to the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Highlights include:
» Scenic flight across Arnhemland.
» A privately owned safari campsite in remote landscape.
» Fishing, or tours of the nearby landscape.
Accommodation: A twin share tent. All meals and activities are included.
Day 4 & 5: Far North Queensland
A spectacular setting on a sprawling 600 000 hectare working cattle Station is the home to Outback adventure.
Highlights include:
» Tour of the cattle station.
» Guided and self guided nature walks.
» Fishing
» 'Country Chef' cooking demonstrations.
Cattle mustering activities available in season.
Accommodation: Guest quarters with king size bed, ensuite and air conditioning, with views overlooking the Mitchell River.
Day 6: Cairns
Welcome to Far North Queensland, and the Great Barrier Reef.
Tours can be tailor-made to the clients request at the time of booking.
