Day 1: From Adelaide to the Flinders Ranges (B, L, D)
Leave Adelaide by 4WD on a private, guided 4WD tour. The scenery develops a different focus when the tour leader is an Indigenous guide.. Learn the stories of local Aboriginal Creation, and learn some of the stories of the rock art. The formations of the Flinders Ranges provide an insight into the landscape's ancient history..
Accommodation: Two nights in an award-winning eco-villa on Rawnsley Park Station.
Includes: Private 4WD tour from Adelaide to the Southern Flinders Ranges, lunch, two course evening meal from menu.
Day 2: Flinders Ranges (B, L, D)
The Flinders Ranges offers a range of landscapes, from creeks lined with River Red Gums to towering rock formations. Spend the day on a small-group tour with a knowledgeable local guide to view the wildlife and stunning scenery in this World Heritage Landscape. This tour will include lunch at an iconic Outback pub.
Includes: Shared (max of 6) 4WD with local, knowledgeable guide of the Central Flinders Ranges. Lunch is included at the iconic Prairie Hotel (or similar).
Day 3: Flinders Ranges to Kangaroo Island (B, L, D)
Enjoy a scenic flight around Wilpena Pound and the Southern Flinders Ranges before heading direct to Kangaroo Island. Known as Australia's Galapagos, Kangaroo Island is home to an amazing range of native Australian wildlife in the wild. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the scenery on a guided 4WD tour.
Estimated Flight Time: 2 hours.
Accommodation: Seascape Lodge of Emu Bay.
The Lodge offers a king-size bed, private en-suite, private verandah area. All meals feature Island produce and are hosted by the owners.
Day 4: Kangaroo Island (B, D)
Kangaroo Island is larger than expected, and home to an astonishing variety of wildlife. Spend the day on a shared, small-group tour (max 6) with a local guide to view seals, sea-lions, fur seals, echidnas, koalas, kangaroos, or some of the 256 different varieties of birds on the Island. End the day with a shared flight from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide.
