Day 1: Uluru (D)

Formerley known as Ayer's Rock, Uluru is the heart of the Red Centre of Australia.  To watch the sun set while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine and dining on a gourmet Outback BBQ is a fabulous start to an Outback experience.

Chinta Tour begins:  3pm, with check-in at a five star Hotel.

Evening Activity:  Sounds of Silence dining experience - a sit down, three course meal served under the Outback sky. 

Accommodation: Deluxe spa room with private en-suite at Sails in the Desert Hotel.

Day 2: Coober Pedy (B, L, D)

The day starts with a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta before flying South over the Great Victoria Desert to Coober Pedy - the Opal Capital of the World.  In this remote community, enjoy a glimpse into life underground - most residents live underground to escape the searing summer heat.  Spend the afternoon on a shared, small-group tour of the town.  Highlights are a visit to an underground home, and underground church, and down an opal mine.

Estimated Flight Time:  2.5 hours.

Accommodation:  One night in an underground room at the Desert Cave Hotel.  Includes lunch, three course evening meal, and buffet breakfast.

Day 3: Flinders Ranges (B, L, D)

Depart Coober Pedy by light aircraft for South Australian's smallest town - William Creek, with a population of 15.  A visit to William Creek gives an unforgettable glimpse into Outback community life.  Farewell William Creek to visit Lake Eyre (Australia's largest salt lake) before heading South to the Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound before landing at an Outback sheep station.  These rugged rocky landscapes has inspired painters and poets for generations.

Spend the afternoon at leisure.

EFT:  2.5 hours.

Accommodation:  One night in an award-winning eco-villa at Rawnsley Park Station.  Includes lunch, two course evening meal, and breakfast.

Day 4: Adelaide (B, L)

Spend the morning on a shared, small-group 4WD tour with a knowledgeable local guide to discover the wildlife and stories of this stunning scenery.  After lunch in The Woolshed Restaurant, enjoy a scenic flight to Adelaide - the Festival Capital of Australia.

EFT:  2 hours.

ETA in Adelaide:  5.00pm.
